Cak Rina is a kecak dance group of the Bali Tagus village which Mr.Rina presides over. Mr.Rina, who represented dancer of Bali was born on February 26, 1963. He tell the day he was born is destined to become a dancer.
Mr. Rina having begun a dance at the age of 7 years old. Mr. Sarudono who is the president of Insteet of art of Jakarta, performed a Dongeng Dari Dirah project in Tagus village in 1970. Rina who was 7 years old watched what Mr. Sarudono did for a distant circle with the children of the village in those days. One day Mr. Sarudono called chirdren to dance together, little Rina was stark naked and jumped onto the stage. Rina went around France, Switzerland, the U.K., Italy and the world as a member of "Dongeng Dari Dirah" and came to be concerned with an international project of many parts of the world from there. He who came back to Bali formed a dancing group of a kecak dance to call "Cak Rina" after having appeared for New York performance of "I La Galio" which Robert Wilson produced. Cak Rina group are not only an adult but also a child joins, and the members who sometimes say several hundred people gather. After all the highlight is a Rina's performance.
